The Evil Of Car Dealerships
I had a problem with my car battery this morning. The warnings were there for the last few days, but I did not heed them. And my battery was completely drained. That’s what happens when you drive a car that’s been around the block a few times, 203,000+ km to be exact.
But did I mention I hate dealerships. The only reason I went to one this time, is because I’m concerned about this car. Even though it has high mileage, it’s still a relatively new car. I wanted to give it a shot to get some “good quality care”. But the price for that is really high. I hate dealing with dealerships. You get that “I don’t have a choice” feeling, and just have to accept your utterly powerlessness.
But I’m always looking out for that silver lining. The good thing was that I did a bit of walking to get to a few places and errands today. It was a very good day for walking. The right humidity. The right amount of light, and a gentle relaxing breeze to carry you through.
If anybody knows a great mechanic shop in the Markham/Scarborough area that does not lie, cheat or charge high rates. Let me know. A good mechanic is really hard to find.
