Both Mike and Alison have their motorcycle licenses... leaving me behind..
Yeah.. let's! Taillights of a lotus... nice lines! Mike also snapping pics of the Lotus' taillights.. hmm.. wonder how it will turn out?
The classic Aston Martin Grill! Another Aston Martin Grill looking menacing! Hey sexy... Aston Martin is always my favorite.
Rolls Royce... double R spells prestige. Here's an interesting post processing story... The hood was reflecting a lot of artifacts - lighting structures from the roof.. Over-exposing the photo got rid of the artifacts, rendered the Porsche logo unclear but really sharpened the headlight assembly Another Porsche logo.
It's show time.. and you're the star! Spotlight please! I saw this little display of a bunch of toy cars on a conveyor belt.. like an assembly line.. so I thought I'd try some interesting perspective shots... Here's the result Cars snowed in? kekeke.
How'd you feel if you got mooned by Little Miss Sunshine? Or was it Bumble Bee? Cadillac... classic and always boxy! The view from the Hummer's fuel tank opening... the wheel clearance on this thingy is substantial!
Hmm.. what's a hummer to do when you've got 10, 20 cars lined up in front of you.. all ganging up against you to take you down? Well... you're a Hummer after all! Run them over! Audi logo blings! Audi logo blings!
The hood reflected a lot of color from the wall. I was either going to make this a black and white photo... or stylized it to make it look like the color belonged in the composition by manipulating the specific color hues.. to draw similarities to the tur In the original pic, much of the details in this air intake was lost. By shooting in raw and post processing, I was able to bring it back to prominence Band of brothers... Ferrari style
Ferrari... looking like a snake-head! Lamborghini Carry the brand on its shoulders.
Band of brothers.. Lambo style.. Band of brothers.. Lambo style.. I believe the much hyped about Nascar Pavilion on the radio ads... was simply this one sad display with a few people lining up.. looks fun though since the chassis moves courtesy of hydralics forced feedback.
Go speed racer go! Motor cycles exhausts are like belly buttons.. here's an innie... (see next pic) Motor cycles exhausts are like belly buttons.. here's an outie... (see previous pic)
Get a load of all that chrome! The motor bike section... Feeling bullish?
I really over-exposed the photo in order to gain an old, caustic metal feel to this vintage spoked rims of a classic Lamborghini. (from previous pic).. This is the vintage spoked tires from an old Lamborghini. Lamborghini or space shuttle? You decide!
Like father..... like son! Standing outside of the MTCC and looking up, we saw the CN Tower. Here's the reason why I'm loving my new 50mm lens. Description: After 8 (or 9, I lost count) years in a row of attending the auto show, the trip is no longer about the cars.. but about photography! LOL This year, I decided to focus on taking shots of the auto show in weird, obscure ways.. showcasing the parts, rather than the whole car. The vast majority of the shots were taken with my newest lens: a Canon EF 50mm f1.8 prime lens (which means I cannot zoom with it). Since I couldn't zoom, it limited my field of view as I had to move myself to frame the shot. But the limitation actually forced me to get creative with my photography! Comments / suggestions are welcomed! I'd love to hear which shots were your favorites!
