Anko, the Anglerfish, is an extremely ugly, devlish looking fish but is extremely delicious and is considered a winter delicacy! The liver (a good size is worth $100 USD), Ankimo, is highly coveted as gourmet food and often served as an expensive appetizer (washed in Sake, steamed/boiled) with ponzu sauce. It is very rich and is comparable to the French foie gras. What would you rather have? The healthy liver of a wild free animal or the sick liver of a man-made farmed product? How do I know this?
