U can test if a girl can sing by getting them to belt out Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing”. Pinay Singer Charice Pempengco wows the Oprah audience yesterday. If I were Simon Cowell.. I’d say it was a really great technical, vocal performance (can rival Whitney’s own live performance).. but I don’t quite feel the emotional content. But it’s still an awesome performance for a 15yo. She ain’t no Mary J. Blige in the soul/emotion department.. but it’s definitely no “Ken Leeeeee” either! Awesome voice!

Hii Ate Charice I know were not related or anything soo i’m just calling you ate hehe ^_^ I just hope one day I can see you in the Philippines around the year of 2010. But anyways you were fantastic your voice just amazed me. I’m just a big fan! I lovee you. Your the greatest singer ever your like a role model to me. When I grow up I wanna be a singer just like you even though I wanted to be a orthodontist. I’m deciding to follow in what I believe in and follow what my heart says. I’v been singing since I was 5 but then later on I stopped but now i’m at the age of 12 and I really wanna go back to singing since I saw maaala mo kaya July 26, 2008 saturday 9pm. You made me go back up to that Filipino style karaoke and sang my heart out it wasn’t the best singing my scores was around 85’s .I cried a bit but as soon as I started typing what I wanted to say to you I just realized that I’m better than this. It takes hard work to sing well like you && thankyou Charice I really really thankyou a whole lot. You inspired me
