I arrived home safely despite some threatening weather. I got some pictures waiting to show you about that drive! But I’ve really been able to relax and spend some quality time with my mother. It’s not all play, because I did a bit of work to get the makeover ready for this website! VinceChan.net will be closing out the year in beautiful fashion and beginning a new era for 2006!

The focus of the new design is to get a little more personal with my readers, to be more asthetically pleasing and at the same time hoping to promote more reader interaction! This is really the point of having a blog, to receive and share feedback, point-of-views and different perspectives.

To take this different design direction, I had to overcome some mental obstacles myself. I was going away from providing a lot of content in the main page (which caused long loading times). The individual posts will also have a minimalist presentation. Sometimes less is more! I hope you will like it!

I checked out many WordPress themes and really liked the Squible Theme for WordPress. It is very personable and pleasing to the eye, but I will look forward to customizing and modding the theme for more content and perhaps monetization in the future; to make it my own so to speak.
