I used the services of LogoYes.com to come up with a design for my site logo. Until now, I have only used the sitename without any logo. I did not know what I had in mind, but I was hoping for LogoYes to give me an inspiration.

I went through the website’s easy to use logo creator, and was inspired when I saw the chinese character for ‘bravery’ being used as a potential logo. I immediately decided that I would use it. Why? It’s because that chinese character should have been in my name, but it wasn’t. My name in chinese should have 3 characters, with the middle character being ‘bravery’ to tie me and my younger brother together. However, on my birth certificate, something happened and I ended up with only 2 characters on my birth certificate, omitting the middle crucial character.

So now, it has come full-circle. The prodigal son has returned! The chinese character of ‘bravery’ has come back to represent me!
