I joined the GoodLife gym today! There was a period of denial but I had to admit that the spare tire I was building up around my gut was not what I want to see myself. I’m in a dangerous age group. The time between 25 to 30. This is where you can easily look like you are pre-25 or you start to look like you’re post-30.
The GoodLife membership fee is not exactly cheap, but it’s worth it and I’m glad I’m able to afford it. I feel sore but I feel good after the work out tonight. My preliminary goal is to be able to spend two day/nights during the week, along with my occasional Friday night basketball to get back in shape, stay in shape, and perhaps even to improve it to an admirable status.
Time will tell if I have the discipline to keep on this program but there’s one thing I’d like to note here about my experience tonight; perhaps I notice these things now, but I like the sales technique of the sales girl that tried to get me to sign a membership. I pretty much made up my mind beforehand anyways. She was pretty professional and knew not to oversell me. I heard once before, a good salesman is also easily sold.. maybe that statement describes me now? I’m not sure …
surprise surprise!
I don’t know that you have a spare tire now?!
Dangerous age group : which one you wanna to be? pre-25 or post-30?
